Description:
Vesuvianite is named after Mount Vesuvius, where it was discovered. It is rather a frequently appearing mineral in certain types of volcanoes, and can appear in a range of colours, although the dominant colours are hues of green. Crystals tend to be small, though frequently very beautiful. |
